Roll Hoops & Harness Bar

Roll hoops and the harness bar were mounted using reinforced inserts and base plates within the monocoque, designed to meet FSUK rollover protection standards.

The roll hoops were manufactured from 25.4 mm diameter T45 steel tubing to meet FSUK dimensional and material rules. Tubes were cut to length, CNC-notched for precise joints, and bent using a mandrel tube bender to achieve the required radii without flattening or thinning the wall. The harness bar was fabricated from the same T45 tubing, TIG-welded between the roll hoop uprights, and dressed to ensure full weld penetration and smooth load transfer. All welded assemblies were cleaned, and painted prior to integration with the monocoque.
